Hicaps – Remedial Massage

Core Therapy now operates a HiCaps facility from the clinic in the Melbourne CBD, remedial massage rebates are available for on the spot claims. Simply bring your health fund card (eg. medibank private) to your massage session and it will be used to claim your remedial massage session.

What is HiCaps?

Hicaps is Australia’s leading electronic claiming service, providing members of participating health funds the convenience of on-the-spot electronic claims (health fund and Medicare Easyclaim) processing and payments.

How does it work?

Hicaps allows you to receive your private health rebate for remedial massage on-the-spot by simply presenting your health fund membership card when arranging payment after your consultation. The HiCaps facility will initially process your claim for remedial massage, you will then pay the remaining gap amount depending on the level of cover you have. This process eliminates any need for you to pay the full fee and then line up at a health fund branch for your rebate.

If your health fund is not participating with HiCaps, you will simply have to receive your rebate through the traditional method of arranging a full payment at Core Therapy and then presenting your tax invoice to the health fund.
